About the Role We seek a **Senior Mobile Developer** with solid experience in React Native and Expo to lead the technical evolution of Evrly’s mobile applications. This role is strategic and hands-on, responsible for ensuring technical quality, performance, security, and scalability of production apps. You will collaborate closely with Product and Design teams, participate in architectural decisions, elevate mobile development standards, and ensure a consistent, reliable experience for iOS and Android users. We expect strong ownership, product mindset, and technical mentoring capability. Key Responsibilities As a Senior Mobile Developer, you will technically lead Evrly’s mobile front-end, driving end-to-end development and evolution of our applications. Your responsibilities include: * Develop and evolve robust, scalable mobile applications using **React Native and Expo**. * Ensure **high performance**, UI optimization, efficient memory usage, and low battery consumption. * Implement and maintain best practices for **client-side security**, including secure storage of sensitive data on devices. * Perform **end-to-end development**, integrating mobile applications with **REST APIs** and backend services. * Conduct **code reviews**, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to architectural standards. * Serve as a technical reference, promoting **mentorship and team growth**. * Collaborate continuously with **Product and Design**, ensuring alignment with functional requirements and user experience. * Manage the full lifecycle of **app publishing, versioning, and maintenance** on the **App Store and Google Play**. * Participate in architectural decisions aimed at scalability, maintainability, and continuous platform evolution. Technical Requirements * Senior-level experience with **React Native**. * Advanced proficiency in **Expo**. * Advanced **TypeScript** expertise. * Proven experience with **publishing and maintaining production apps** (Apple App Store and Google Play). * Navigation using **Expo Router** and/or **React Navigation**. * Solid knowledge of **mobile performance**, including memoization, list rendering, and efficient UI rendering. * Experience with **client-side security** and handling sensitive data. * Integration with **REST APIs**. * Knowledge of **SQL and NoSQL databases**. * Experience with **cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines**. Nice-to-Have * Experience with **EAS Build and EAS Submit**. * Background in **DTC, Healthtech, or high-traffic mobile applications**. * Experience working with distributed teams and international environments. * Product-oriented mindset with focus on user experience. * Prior experience technically leading mobile teams.
