Production support for critical systems Location: On-site mandatory — Vitória/ES Company: Atman **ABOUT THE POSITION** Backend development role focused on APIs for digital products, integration with hardware and IoT devices, and critical / real-time systems requiring stability, performance, scalability, and reliability in production. Work with technical autonomy, participation in architectural decisions, direct integration with hardware/electronics teams, and production support for critical systems. **RESPONSIBILITIES** · Develop and maintain REST APIs and WebSockets · Implement event-driven architectures and messaging systems · Integrate backend systems with hardware and IoT devices · Work on critical and real-time systems · Participate in technical and architectural decisions · Ensure quality, security, observability, and reliability · Develop and maintain automated tests · Analyze logs, metrics, and production incidents · Collaborate with software, hardware, and product teams **TECH STACK AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE** · Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript · REST APIs and WebSockets · Messaging and event streaming (Kafka) · Relational and NoSQL databases · Git · Automated testing · Observability, logging, and monitoring · Security and authentication · Docker · AWS **REQUIREMENTS** · Minimum 2 years of backend experience · Intermediate to advanced English proficiency · Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or related fields **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** · Conversational Spanish or Italian will be considered a significant advantage · Experience with IoT, hardware, or embedded systems · Experience with critical systems or high availability **EXPECTED TECHNICAL PROFILE** · Analytical mindset · Strong technical capability · Genuine interest in solving complex problems **SALARY RANGE** R$ 6\.000 to R$ 12\.000 Final classification based on technical evaluation. **EMPLOYMENT TYPE AND BENEFITS** Employment type: CLT Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM **Benefits:** · Meal allowance · Food voucher · Unimed health insurance plan · Dental insurance plan · Life insurance **APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS** Interested candidates must send their resumes to vagas@atmansystems.com, specifying the area of interest in the email subject line.
