The Compounding Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for carrying out or supporting technical and operational activities related to medication compounding, such as weighing, encapsulation, verification, and quality control of formulations, always under the supervision of the responsible pharmacist. The role also involves finalizing and organizing orders, maintaining the standards and safety required by the magistral area. **Required Competencies:** * **Discipline** Demonstrates commitment to strictly following standardized processes and procedures, ensuring quality and safety in all tasks performed. * **Focus on Work** Remains focused and attentive while performing tasks, even amidst distractions, ensuring accuracy and productivity. * **Attention to Detail/Meticulousness** Works with attention to detail, performing tasks carefully and precisely, which is essential in the context of formulation compounding. * **Proactivity** Acts ahead of time to identify and prevent problems, demonstrating initiative and autonomy in carrying out responsibilities. * **Interpersonal Relationships** Interacts respectfully and collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals, maintaining a harmonious and productive work environment. * **Responsibility** Takes responsibility for actions, decisions, and outcomes, consistently striving for excellence in task delivery. * **Teamwork** Actively collaborates with the team, contributing to the achievement of collective goals and strengthening integration across departments. **Responsibilities:** **Weighing Formulations (controlled and non-controlled)** * Receive and verify the weighing sheet containing the formula, comparing it with the prescription (if applicable). * Perform medication weighing and forward it for encapsulation. * Calculate, analyze, and specify capsule size, quantity, and color; record on the weighing sheet. * Arrange label corrections when necessary. * Maintain an organized inventory of medications in use. **Encapsulation (only non-controlled or separately controlled items)** * Receive the weighing sheet and the formula. * Handle solid pharmaceutical forms (capsules, orodispersible tablets, sachets). * Forward for double checking after compounding. **Double Checking** * Analyze samples to verify the average weight of solid formulations. * Check the complete order, ensuring compliance with established standards. **Finalization** * Distribute orders to the respective department. * Verify the label against the weighing sheet and prescription (if applicable). * Label, package, and prepare for delivery according to designated location and time. **Compounding Dermatological and Cosmetic Forms** * Receive and verify the weighing sheet with the formula, checking against the prescription (if applicable). * Perform weighing and homogenization of dermocosmetic formulations, liquids, gummies, and chocolates. * Properly package and send for double checking. **Other Activities** * Carry out other related tasks as required by the organization. **Basic Requirements
