




Description: The Production Supervisor (a) is responsible for supervising/executing all plant operation and maintenance activities, directing and guiding area work to employees in order to maintain the normality and continuity of the production process within the expected safety, quality, and productivity standards. Responsibilities and duties * Participate in the area's shift handover meeting, where information, instructions, and observations about the production carried out and programming for subsequent shifts are communicated, staying informed to begin your workday. * Participate in the area's production scheduling, discussing progress of work and compliance with established programs, aiming to develop action plans to correct possible deviations and/or changes in the initial planning due to new demands presented. * Supervise, monitor, and guide daily production progress through received reports, ensuring that the production process occurs within expected efficiency, safety, quality, and productivity standards, meeting established schedules. * Analyze and decide on actions to be taken in emergency situations (equipment breakdowns, raw material issues, accidents, etc.), ensuring continuity of the production process without compromising adherence to required safety, quality, and productivity standards, keeping superiors informed about incidents and decisions made. * Ensure the development of employees under their responsibility, monitoring and guiding them in their training and progression, aiming to improve their performance and skills. * Supervise their work team, monitoring and controlling punctuality, attendance, and performance, creating and modifying work schedules and vacation plans, seeking to ensure compliance with scheduling within established quality, productivity, and deadline parameters. * Ensure compliance with overall production schedules, service priorities, operational conditions of the area, among others, aiming to optimize resources and results within predetermined deadlines and standards. * Continuously assess the area's operational conditions, monitoring setup processes, interacting with operators, and conducting on-site inspections, interrupting the production process if necessary, identifying problem causes, and taking appropriate corrective measures to normalize production. * Carry out and monitor maintenance activities of machines, equipment, and facilities, defining required services with the team. * Participate in the creation, updating, and training on company documents/procedures, aiming to keep staff qualified for area operations and to document completed training. * Monitor internal and external audits and technical visits, providing information and clarifying doubts, aiming to prevent non-conformities in the area and to become aware of necessary corrections in adopted procedures. * Ensure inventory of production inputs, performing physical and system-based control, requesting materials, arranging and supervising transportation, and verifying their quality and quantity, to guarantee adequate supply for production. * Develop planning and scheduling for preventive maintenance, analyzing allocation of internal and external resources for carrying out tasks, aiming to complete predetermined activities. * Monitor and control maintenance orders, analyzing tasks to be performed and verifying priorities, guiding the definition and allocation of suitable labor to meet company demands and needs within predetermined deadlines. * Analyze and verify requirements for purchasing spare parts, components, inputs, and various maintenance materials, checking their specifications and characteristics, as well as monitoring reorder points and analyzing inventory performance, aiming to prevent shortages from disrupting work progress. * Ensure compliance with budget forecasts according to planning and scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance, monitoring and controlling consumption of spare parts, components, materials, inputs, and other costs inherent to their area of responsibility, as established by the company. * Supervise testing of machines and equipment during maintenance, ensuring their proper and adequate operation after service completion, meeting required quality and deadline conditions, as well as ensuring testing of new tools, spare parts, and inputs, evaluating performance and general conditions, approving or rejecting their use as applicable. * Participate in periodic safety meetings, where relevant topics such as accidents, incidents, risk analyses, changes in regulations, etc., are discussed, contributing to improving workplace safety conditions. Encourage the team, coordinate and participate in company-promoted management and quality programs (GMC, 5S, Visual Management, TPM, Ownership Culture, improvement ideas, etc.), contributing to continuous improvement of processes, products, and services. * Requirements and qualifications * Completed technical degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. * Experience in Production Process Management. * Experience in People Management. * Intermediate Excel skills. 2510230202201523194
