Environmental Defense Agent
Job Summary:
Professional to work in environmental management, socio-environmental education, park monitoring, and administrative support, with a focus on preservation and community interaction.
Main Highlights:
1. Support environmental education and awareness activities for the community
2. Act as a guide during park visits and assist in fauna and flora research
3. Conduct monitoring of park activities and support unit management
• Support the development and implementation of environmental-themed activities, delivering lectures, classes, and socio-environmental workshops for the community, students, and people with special needs, as well as acting as a facilitator for collective learning and socio-environmental planning;
• Drive vehicles to carry out assigned duties (when necessary);
• Assist in park fauna and flora research, among other tasks;
• Act as a guide during park visits;
• Open, signal, and close hiking trails;
• Monitor camping activities;
• Notify competent authorities in case of environmental, heritage-related, or public safety incidents occurring within park premises;
• Carry out duties in compliance with technical, safety, quality, hygiene, and environmental preservation standards and procedures;
• Receive community members and visitors, identify them, and ascertain their intentions in order to provide information and/or direct them to the appropriate individuals or departments;
• Answer telephone calls;
• Take messages;
• Record visits and incoming phone calls;
• Use computer resources;
• Operate communication equipment;
• Assist with administrative tasks to meet the unit’s requests and needs;
• Collect signatures on various documents as required by the unit;
• Operate and refill the photocopier, control photocopier requisitions, receive and sign receipts for consumables, mail, reprographic services, and others;
• Support the managers of each conservation unit in developing their management activities;
• Perform other tasks of similar nature and complexity associated with the organizational environment.
**Requirements: Possession of Driver's License AB**
Job Type: Permanent CLT
Salary: R$1.810,75 – R$2.109,87 per month
