Job Summary: A Social Educator supports individuals in vulnerable situations, providing humane reception and assisting in their social reintegration through socioeducational accompaniment. Assists in conflict mediation and the pursuit of autonomy. * ***Work Schedule:*** 12/36 * ***Working Hours:*** 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for the **DAY SHIFT**. * *Position: SOCIAL EDUCATOR* The Social Educator plays a vital role in supporting individuals experiencing social vulnerability, contributing essential socioeducational accompaniment to help rebuild their lives. At the André Luiz Night Shelter, we offer not only temporary lodging but also provide humane reception and support throughout their social reintegration process. * *RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:* The educator will receive and welcome individuals, creating a safe and trustworthy environment. Within this context, and together with the team, they will empathetically and non-judgmentally assist in the social reintegration process—listening to residents’ life stories, needs, and aspirations—and contribute to appropriate referrals. They provide information on rights and responsibilities, assist in obtaining documentation, and address specific needs. They facilitate peaceful conflict mediation arising from daily interactions among residents. The goal is for residents to regain autonomy and become protagonists of their own lives. * *FOR THIS ROLE AS AN AGENT OF TRANSFORMATION, WE EVALUATE THE FOLLOWING COMPETENCIES:* \- Reception and registration; \- Monitoring residents’ needs; \- Recording information in medical records; \- Public service delivery; \- Delivering socioeducational activities aimed at transforming residents’ lives; \- Proactive attitude and strong communication skills; \- Education: Completed High School (Higher education in related fields preferred); Computer literacy (Word and Excel); \- Driver’s License Category B (preferred).
