"This position is also eligible for persons with disabilities or rehabilitated individuals." **Responsibilities and duties** * Prospect new carriers, assess profiles, and support in selecting the appropriate ones; * Monitor transportation deviations and incidents; * Monitor carrier IQF; * Handle appropriately any occurrences recorded during the transportation process (damages, lost products, customer complaints, among others), performing follow-up and reporting when necessary, interfacing with departments; * Monitor transportation procedures and cargo handling; * Plan and execute tactical actions to reduce operational errors; * Analyze freight costs and carrier performance; * Evaluate demand and performance of carriers; * Size resources and provide support in monitoring load shipments, deliveries, route planning, and work order releases; * Define loading time windows together with the Shipping operations team; * Align with departments information related to transportation processes (improvements, changes, resolution of issues, among others); * Monitor and perform tasks related to the registration flow of transportation suppliers and basic knowledge of service provider contracts; * Implement and monitor logistics KPIs/OPIs, interacting across various factory sectors; * Promote continuous improvement processes and propose solutions to departmental problems. * Monitor product and material entries and exits in the system. * Verify and validate physical and system inventory movements. * Ensure physical inventory matches accounting/system inventory. * Plan, organize, and conduct periodic inventories (rotational, monthly, semi-annual, or annual). * Supervise teams during physical item counts.
