This Position reports to: Engineering Manager **Job Mission** Are you interested in engineering, automation, and robotics, and do you wish to develop your technical expertise within a globally recognized technology and innovation leader? ABB is looking for a **Senior Project Technician** to join its **Robotics** division, supporting projects, application engineering, and sales processes. In this position, you will have the opportunity to participate in projects of varying scales and complexity levels, with a focus on continuous technical development, preparing you to specialize in Painting Robotics through activities including robot programming, simulation, technical support, and direct interaction with internal departments and customers. **Responsibilities** * Support project engineering activities, including programming of painting robots and simulations using ABB RobotStudio. * Develop and maintain technical documentation, feasibility studies, automation concepts, and support the development of robotic painting solutions. * Collaborate with Sales and Application teams, providing technical support for proposals, concepts, and technical presentations to customers. * Actively participate in projects, technical meetings, and workshops, focusing on developing and specializing in ABB’s painting robotics technology. * Contribute to continuous improvement of technical processes and knowledge sharing within the team. **Requirements** * Completed technical diploma or ongoing undergraduate degree in Engineering (Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields). * Experience in project engineering, automation, robotics, or industrial processes, preferably in industrial or automotive environments. * Knowledge of or practical experience in programming industrial robots. * Experience in or interest in process simulation, cell concepts, and technical studies applied to sales engineering. * Functional English communication skills for technical interaction, documentation, and training. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with ABB RobotStudio and ABB robots. * Experience in painting robotics projects or similar processes. **What We Offer** * Join a global company working on high-impact industrial projects. * Career development opportunities with potential for growth within the organization. * Hybrid work model, combining flexibility between on-site and remote work. #LI-Hybrid **About ABB’s Robotics Division** ABB Robotics is a global leader in automation solutions for various industrial sectors.
