We are seeking a talent for the position of Field Distribution Technician I. **Let’s transform collaboration into results—together?** **Responsibilities and duties** **Activities to be performed:** Execute and supervise field-based technical and commercial services for the electricity distribution system, including inspections, regulatory oversight, new connections, supply suspension and reconnection, emergency responses, voltage level regularization, and assessment of electrical damage. Work on low- and medium-voltage installations and equipment—including metering, protection, and switching devices—in coordination with operational teams, partner companies, and the Distribution Operations Center, ensuring safety, technical compliance, and service quality. Ensure adherence to internal standards, regulatory requirements, and PRODIST procedures, contributing to supply continuity, system reliability, and service quality for consumers. **Requirements and qualifications** **Education level:** Completed Technical Education **Required qualification:** Technical course in Electrotechnology, Electricity, Electrical Systems, or related fields aligned with electricity distribution. **Note:** Active Technical Registration Certificate is mandatory. **Desirable courses and specializations:** Training courses in operation and maintenance of distribution networks, metering systems, electrical installation safety, and operational procedures in the electricity sector. **Technical competencies:** * Experience executing and supervising field-based services—including new connections, supply suspension, reconnection, and other commercial services—at consumer units; * Experience in operational activities—including emergency responses, operation, and switching in low- and medium-voltage electricity distribution systems; * Experience conducting inspections, tests, and verification of metering systems, temporary grounding, and electrical system equipment—with direct field involvement; * Experience providing technical customer support related to voltage level regularization and assessment of electrical damage—including on-site inspections and technical analyses; * Knowledge of operation, maintenance, and execution of technical and commercial services in low- and medium-voltage electricity distribution systems; * Knowledge of operational procedures, safety standards, regulatory norms, and guidelines from the Distribution Operations Center for field interventions; * Knowledge of reading and interpreting electrical projects, connection standards, metering schematics, and technical procedures applicable to commercial services; * Knowledge of inspection, measurement, voltage level regularization, operational adjustments, and electrical damage assessment processes—as required by PRODIST and current regulations; * Ability to operate in an environment with exposure to electrical hazards—prioritizing safety, quality, and compliance in all executed activities. **Additional information** **Why apply:** By joining Grupo Equatorial, you become part of a growing company whose culture values continuous development, talent diversity, and commitment to the future.
