Job Summary: The Junior Laundry Assistant is responsible for ensuring the hygiene, organization, and restocking of linens, contributing to the efficiency and quality of hotel services. The Junior Laundry Assistant performs operational laundry tasks at the hotel, ensuring the hygiene, sorting, organization, and restocking of bed linens, bath linens, uniforms, and other textile items. This role contributes to laundry process efficiency while ensuring service quality for guests and staff. **What are the routine responsibilities of a Laundry Assistant?** * Collect, sort, and weigh linens and textiles according to internal procedures; * Support operation of washing, drying, and ironing equipment; * Fold, organize, and store linens and textiles according to hotel standards; * Inspect and sort damaged items, reporting the need for repair or disposal; * Assist in distributing clean linens to hotel departments; * Restock uniforms and linens based on staff and guest demand; * Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness; * Follow established practices and procedures to minimize environmental impacts, such as proper waste management and responsible use of natural resources; * Identify situations that may cause negative environmental impacts and report them to the environmental team; * Participate in sustainability and environmental practice training; * Follow guidelines for proper waste disposal, reuse, and recycling; * Comply with and report instructions during environmental emergencies. **Education, Knowledge, and Prerequisites Required for This Position:** * Completed Elementary Education; * Possession of a National Driver's License (CNH) **What Does Amarante Offer to the Laundry Assistant?** In addition to competitive compensation, you’ll find a relaxed environment, a diverse team, outstanding results, and abundant opportunities to learn and grow.
