We are looking for a professional to join a Legacy Modernization team with a clear mission: to be AI-Driven. This role differs from traditional business feature development; the focus is on operating in a dynamic environment, directly modernizing systems and evolving workflows supported by Artificial Intelligence. You will work alongside senior developers, combining technical execution, research into new tools (especially GitHub Copilot), and evangelization of best practices across other teams. **Responsibilities:**Contribute to the evolution of an AI-supported modernization workflow. Explore, test, and apply AI tools and models in the context of software development. Use and enhance development-support tool practices, with special emphasis on GitHub Copilot. Identify technical gaps during modernization processes and propose improvements. Support other teams in understanding and using the modernization framework developed by the team. Collaborate closely with senior developers and architects. Plan and manage your own activities, ensuring organization, deadline adherence, and clarity of priorities. Report status, progress, and blockers clearly and objectively. Share technical knowledge and learnings with the team. **Requirements:** Backend experience: Proficiency in Java, using Spring Boot and Gradle frameworks. Frontend experience: Proficiency in TypeScript and Angular (openness and willingness to deepen knowledge in these technologies are essential). AI fluency: Proficiency in using Artificial Intelligence tools to support development and automation. Self-management: Ability to organize your own tasks, meet deadlines, and report progress without requiring micromanagement. Technical curiosity: Genuine interest in tracking market releases, new AI models, and technological trends. Proactive profile: Initiative to seek automation solutions and resolve complex modernization challenges. **Desirable:** Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Prior experience in software modernization or refactoring projects. Intermediate English proficiency. **Differentiator:** Experience with AI-driven initiatives. Habit of tracking releases, news, and trends in Artificial Intelligence and development tools.
