**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Plan and monitor production in the short term (up to one month), medium term (2–12 months), and long term (beyond 12 months), tracking achievement of planned targets and adherence (planned vs. actual) through indicator analysis, negotiating with involved departments, and proposing corrective and/or preventive actions when necessary;
* Support the immediate supervisor on matters related to production and materials planning, scheduling, and control by conducting specific studies and participating in projects involving the department to ensure smooth operational execution and meet customer demands;
* Act as a mentor to department professionals to share knowledge and contribute to both individual and collective team development;
* Collaborate with the maintenance department to schedule preventive maintenance activities aimed at increasing equipment reliability;
* Serve as liaison among departments involved in the production process (production, engineering, sales, finance & administration), analyzing variations and trends to adjust scheduling based on sales priorities and operational constraints;
* Analyze and guide product mix optimization for monthly, quarterly, and annual planning purposes;
* Conduct training and refresher courses to standardize procedural knowledge within the department and/or related areas;
* Support S&OP processes, ensuring governance and analyses that contribute to business outcomes;
* Optimize supply chain processes to improve customer service levels and financial returns;
* Propose and implement innovative tools and improvement initiatives in workflow, processes, and planning to identify opportunities for enhancing operational performance;
* Monitor and control raw material, work-in-process, and finished goods inventory positions to comply with the company’s inventory policy, mitigating stockouts and excess inventory;
* Comply with company policies, quality standards, and occupational safety procedures;
* Perform additional duties of similar nature and complexity, within defined scope of responsibility, as required by the department and/or requested by the immediate supervisor.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed undergraduate degree;
* Proficiency in production and materials planning, scheduling, and control;
* In-depth knowledge of S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning);
* Work instructions, procedures, and/or routines: operational guidelines for executing responsibilities;
* Product portfolio;
* Production processes: understanding of manufacturing processes through interdepartmental interface awareness;
* Enterprise resource planning (ERP) system: proficiency in operating the ERP system used to ensure efficient departmental operations.
