We are looking for professionals to work as **Mechanic** in **Água Azul do Norte** \- PA**.** **Responsibilities and duties** Perform technical activities of preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical components and parts, assembly and disassembly of mechanical subassemblies, vulcanization, hydraulic and pneumatic systems of machines, equipment and mine facilities, aiming to ensure safety and quality of services within the company’s various business segments; Interpret mechanical drawings for part fabrication, layout and cold cutting of steel plates; Operation of overhead cranes and radial drilling machines; Experience and knowledge in sheet metal work; Assist Mechanic II in planning preventive and scheduled maintenance, building and reassessing preventive maintenance plans, evaluating equipment unfit for use, and negotiating machine and fleet equipment downtimes with departments to maximize available machine and equipment uptime; Request purchase of materials and fabrication of components, performing necessary assembly and adjustments under technical guidance and support; Perform additional job-related tasks of similar nature and complexity as requested by immediate supervisor and internal demands; Conduct inspections on pumps, fans, exhaust systems, and fleet equipment; Install and assemble mechanical assemblies on equipment, machines and fleet machinery, adjusting and testing their operation; Monitor and produce parts and components for maintenance; Assist Mechanic II in preparing maintenance reports; Pneumatic Maintenance: Remove and install pneumatic accessories, compressed air networks, valves, cylinders, piping, compressors, etc.; Remove and install hydraulic accessories, pumps, valves, motors, cylinders, presses, etc.; Repair fleet machines and equipment by performing corrective and preventive maintenance; disassemble fleet machines and equipment when issues arise, repair or replace broken or defective components; Assist Mechanic II in diagnostics, installation and preventive and corrective maintenance, installation and assembly of industrial machinery, according to defined procedures and technical standards NR's; Assist Mechanic II in monitoring service execution schedules, periodically assess repair needs, and record completed maintenance activities. **Requirements and qualifications** **Mandatory requirements:** Completed high school education; Knowledge in Mechanical Maintenance in Mining; Relevant experience; Experience in mining, steel, industrial or metallurgical sectors; Experience in assembly and disassembly of components, gearboxes, pumps, cylinders and bearings; Experience in planning and executing predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance technical activities; Knowledge of welding and sheet metal work. **Desirable requirements:** Basic Office package skills; Technical degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical engineering or related fields. **Additional information** Reside or have availability to reside in Canaã dos Carajás and/or Água Azul do Norte\- PA. ***The Modern Mining Company*** **Working together to create value** One of our key assets is our people, and our values differentiate us and sustain a unique culture which we enjoy today and into the future. **How we work together:** * Acting with integrity toward all stakeholders. * Thinking and acting differently. * Building a culture of respect that enables our people to succeed. * Focusing on partnership and collaboration, not hierarchy. * Delivering superior results through effective planning and agile execution. * Doing what was agreed upon and getting things done.
