Job Summary: The Senior Mechanical Engineer (Design Engineer) will be responsible for developing, detailing, and overseeing mechanical engineering projects applied to mining operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, safety standards, and operational efficiency. All applications must be submitted exclusively through our official channels. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop mechanical engineering projects for equipment and systems used in mining, including conveyor belts, chutes, silos, screens, crushers, steel structures, and piping. * Prepare technical drawings, descriptive memoranda, material lists, and technical specifications using engineering software (CAD/3D). * Perform mechanical calculations, stress analyses, material and component selection, adhering to applicable technical standards (ABNT, ISO, ASME, among others). * Oversee manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning of designed equipment and systems, providing technical support when required. * Evaluate and propose improvements to existing projects, aiming to enhance reliability, safety, operational performance, and cost reduction. * Provide technical interface with suppliers, reviewing proposals, conducting technical equivalency assessments, and supporting procurement processes. * Ensure projects comply with legal, environmental, occupational safety, and internal company standards. * Provide technical support to maintenance and operations departments, contributing to failure analysis, equipment improvement, and engineering solutions. * Prepare and review technical documentation, engineering reports, schedules, and project change records. * Participate in technical and economic feasibility studies for new projects, plant expansions, or modifications. The **Senior Mechanical Engineer (Design Engineer)** will be responsible for developing, detailing, and overseeing mechanical engineering projects applied to mining operations, covering industrial equipment, mechanical structures, material handling systems, and auxiliary installations. The role spans from conceptual design through implementation, ensuring compliance with technical standards, operational safety, production efficiency, and cost optimization.
