We are seeking a **FULL SAFETY ENGINEER**, responsible for coordinating and providing technical advisory support for Health and Safety activities, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and internal requirements, supporting operational teams and the SESMT, conducting Safety, Occupational Hygiene, and Ergonomics programs, performing risk analyses, audits, inspections, training, and incident investigations. All applications must be submitted exclusively through our official channels. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Provide technical advisory support for Health and Safety (H\&S) and coordinate specialized technical teams to ensure integrity of effective risk management actions, reduction of losses, and physical well-being of personnel involved in activities. * Support legal and technical compliance across applicable areas, grounded in External Legal Standards, Current Technical Standards, Instructions, and Internal Regulatory Requirements. * Monitor compliance with External Legal Standards, Current Technical Standards, Instructions, and Internal Regulatory Requirements through audits and inspections. * Support collective/individual SESMT activities and other contracted service providers delivering direct services to ERO Tucumã SESMT through contract management. * Support Occupational Safety and Hygiene Technicians through technical knowledge and reference materials. * Provide technical assistance to departments during Health and Safety committee meetings, supplying information and clarifications. * Provide the corporate department with appropriate information to advance the H\&S management process, based on results. * Evaluate, validate, and consolidate managerial information related to H\&S, using reports provided by departments. * Deliver orientation (introductory) and/or specific H\&S training to identified employees, aligned with Internal Instructions and Regulatory Requirements. * Ensure all incidents (personal, material, near-misses) are properly analyzed and communicated to all relevant departments, supported by technical guidance and verification of respective records. * Verify and assist departments to ensure action plans generated by H\&S tools are properly executed, via follow-up and support during plan development. * Implement occupational safety programs through deployment of an H\&S management system. * Periodically prepare reports on implemented program progress, based on analysis thereof. * Monitor and/or manage identification of hazardous environmental agents and unsafe conditions present at workplaces, analyzing projects, construction, processes, equipment, and facilities through measurements and/or contracting specialized companies. * Identify and recognize risks inherent to processes for Occupational Hygiene control programs, through promotion of technical capacity-building for dedicated teams. * Issue technical reports and opinions, as needed, based on consultations, evaluations, and report preparation. * Advise on establishment, implementation, and development of CIPA/CIPAMIN committees. * Analyze expert reports and monitor judicial expert assessments, issuing opinions when required. * Ensure archiving of all documentation related to H\&S. * Plan, specify, and monitor project-related activities and resources, applying project management techniques to guarantee delivery of products or services on time, within quality standards, budget, and technical specifications set by Vale, and achievement of project objectives. * Develop emergency response plans to prepare personnel, allocate resources, and minimize impacts in case of emergencies. * Implement ergonomics programs jointly with the Health department, anticipating and mapping ergonomic risks and monitoring outcomes per workstation. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Degree in Environmental Engineering and/or related fields, with specialization in Occupational Safety Engineering; * Registered with the Regional Council of Engineering; * Experience in Occupational Safety within the mining industry; * Proficiency in management tools; * Solid knowledge of Brazilian Regulatory Norms (NRs); **Additional Information** * Medical and Dental Assistance Plan; * Group Life Insurance; * Private Pension Plan; * Pharmacy Allowance; * Meal Allowance; * Profit Sharing Program (PLR); * Transportation; * Gympass; * Eyeglass Allowance; * English Language Allowance; * Educational Allowance; * **Important: Candidates must be willing to reside in Tucumã or Ourilândia do Norte – PA.** #### **We are ERO, one of Brazil’s leading copper and gold producers.** **We belong to a global group headquartered in Canada with a strong presence in Brazil.
