Customer service with respect and friendliness #### **About the position:** The Bakery Chef is a professional responsible for producing sweets, cakes, pies, desserts, and other bakery products. They handle tasks ranging from preparing doughs and fillings to final assembly and decoration, ensuring flavor, quality, and presentation of items according to company standards or customer requirements. #### **Main responsibilities:** * Provide customer service with courtesy, respect, and friendliness; * Monitor daily production of products; * Retrieve products and ingredients for production from the warehouse or sales area; * Carry out production of sector-related products; * Follow quality standards during production; * Weigh, package, and display products according to sales demand; * Check expiration dates of displayed products; * Remove products unfit for consumption or with damaged packaging; * Maintain a clean and organized work area, complying with company and health surveillance standards; * Provide customer service in accordance with company service standards; * Comply with operational procedures required for the position; * Remain attentive to departmental activities; * Commit to departmental goals and responsibilities. #### **Desirable qualifications (preferred):** * Prior experience in bakeries or pastry shops; * Knowledge of specific baking techniques; * Ability to innovate and suggest process improvements; * Technical training in baking or gastronomy. #### **Benefits:** * Meal allowance * Health insurance * Telemedicine * Online psychological counseling * Dental plan * Nutritionist coaching * Sports coaching * Attendance incentive program * Life insurance * Funeral assistance * Benefits club * Pharmacy discounts #### **Work schedule and hours:** * Rotating shift: 6 days on, 1 day off * 7 hours and 20 minutes per day
