This professional ensures that automated routines can read data in various formats from source databases and write them with integrity into Equiplano’s database, applying business rules defined by Data Analysts. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Main Responsibilities** * **Extractor and Converter Development:** Develop and maintain applications (Desktop or Console) responsible for connecting to competitors’ system databases to perform massive extraction of Payroll and Procurement data. * **Import Engine:** Maintain and enhance routines that process intermediate files and insert data into the Equiplano ERP, ensuring high performance (migration time) and referential integrity of information. * **“From/To” Operationalization:** Convert mapping spreadsheets prepared by Data Analysts into transformation algorithms, implementing conversion rules *(e.g., “If the position in the legacy system is ‘10’, convert it to ‘Professor 20h’”)*. * **Legacy System and Script Maintenance:** Perform correction and maintenance of legacy tools (possibly developed in C\+\+, Delphi, or older C\#) and develop new agile scripts—primarily in Python—for targeted cleanups and adjustments requested by the implementation team. * **Exception Handling:** Develop routines capable of identifying inconsistent or “dirty” data that prevents import, generating clear and traceable logs to support correction by Data Analysts. **Technical Requirements (Hard Skills) — Toolset** * **Programming Languages:** * **C\# / .NET:** Primary language for developing import tools in Windows environments and manipulating complex objects. * **C\+\+:** Required for maintaining high-performance components and legacy libraries, especially those used for connecting to older databases. * **Java:** Used for maintaining cross-platform converters or integrating with web modules. * **Python Scripting and Automation:** Essential for rapid text manipulation, processing large-volume CSV files, and ad\-hoc data handling *(e.g., using Pandas to normalize CPFs before import)*. * **Databases:** Advanced SQL knowledge, with ability to understand target data structures and optimize bulk insertion operations (Bulk Insert), ensuring large-volume migrations do not become excessively time-consuming. **Business Knowledge (Desirable)** Familiarity with data structures related to Payroll (event tables, financial records) and Procurement (items, lots, suppliers), facilitating understanding of business logic implemented in maintained systems. **Behavioral Competencies (Soft Skills)** * **Logical and Structured Thinking:** Ability to translate complex business rules *e.g., “calculate average of last 12 months for bonus leave during migration”)* into clear, efficient, and sustainable code. * **Agility and Responsiveness:** During critical implementation periods (e.g., transition of mandates or year-start), unexpected data issues commonly impact tools.
