Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician will schedule, supervise, and perform hydraulic, gas, steam, and compressed air maintenance services, interpret technical drawings, and ensure quality standards and deadlines. Operation of machinery and tools while maintaining quality standards Dear Candidate, REDE SANTA CATARINA is seeking a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN to join our team. Your main responsibilities will include: • Scheduling, supervising, and performing hydraulic services on water distribution networks (cold, hot, service, and rainwater), as well as maintenance on gas, steam, and compressed air networks, in accordance with specifications and work orders, meeting deadlines and required quality standards. • Interpreting projects, drawings, and diagrams related to your area of expertise to determine the best approach for carrying out tasks according to established quality standards. • Performing work orders in accordance with predefined technical instructions and procedures, aiming to maintain quality standards and deadlines. • Determining the type and quantity of finishing materials and other necessary supplies for service delivery, requesting missing materials from the warehouse to reduce turnaround time for work orders. • Preparing finishing materials—sanding, leveling, cutting, gluing, and applying finishes—as required, to reduce turnaround time for work orders. • Performing maintenance on hardware, wooden structures, and other components integral to upholstered furniture and armchairs, per supervision guidance, to minimize corrective maintenance. • Operating appropriate machinery and tools to ensure equipment remains in optimal condition and complies with institutional standards. • Keeping work areas organized and clean to support task execution and help reduce airborne dust proliferation.
