We operate with recurring revenue, hundreds of active law firms, and a lean product and technology team. We are looking for a senior software engineer to lead the development team technically, combining high-level technical execution with the responsibility of elevating engineering quality and maturity across the company. **About the Role** This is a technical leadership role with a strong execution component. You will be responsible for defining engineering standards, conducting code reviews, and guiding the team’s architectural decisions, while also directly contributing to feature development and resolving critical production issues. It is an opportunity for those who want real impact on a product with active users and revenue, with autonomy to shape the platform’s technical direction. **What We Expect** **Profile** * Pragmatism and delivery focus — prioritizes functional solutions and iterates from them * Mindset of definitive problem solving — investigates root causes rather than treating symptoms only * Product mindset — understands that a feature’s value is measured by the end-user experience * Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders * Sense of priority — distinguishes urgent tasks from merely interesting ones, and acts accordingly **Responsibilities** * Define and evolve Previdas’ system architecture, ensuring scalability, security, modularity, and alignment with product strategy. * Lead the platform’s architectural process, consolidating legacy systems and parallel MVPs into a cohesive and sustainable structure. * Serve as the technical reference and engineering leader for the team, guiding architectural decisions, coding standards, domain modeling, and best practices. * Conduct strategic code reviews, focusing on quality, maintainability, complexity reduction, and continuous code evolution. * Resolve critical production incidents, especially integrations with partners (external APIs, webhooks, integration contracts), ensuring ecosystem stability. * Define versioning standards, technical documentation, and code governance, promoting predictability and traceability. * Support strategic product decisions from a technical perspective, evaluating risks, architectural impact, and feasibility of new initiatives. **Requirements** **Required** * Solid experience (minimum 4 years) in software architecture, with active participation in structural decisions and definition of technical standards. * Practical experience with monolithic systems and service-oriented architecture (microservices), including understanding trade-offs, modularization strategies, and incremental evolution. * Proficiency in data modeling, data structures, and relational databases, including schema design, performance, integrity, and scalability. * Proven experience in refactoring and modernizing legacy systems, leading stack upgrades, architectural reorganization, and technical debt reduction. * Knowledge of web application security and security best practices. * Demonstrated experience with code versioning (Git), cloud environments, and CI/CD pipelines, promoting automation, quality, and delivery predictability. * Strategic communication ability in a technical leadership context, translating architectural decisions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. **Preferred** * Experience with technologies used in our projects: Angular, NestJS, MySQL. * Experience with Docker and container orchestration, knowledge of DigitalOcean. * Prior experience as a technical reference or tech lead in small teams. * Experience with telemedicine platforms or healthtech. **Conditions** * Employment — R$ 12.000 to R$ 15.000/month (based on experience) * 100% remote work * Autonomy to define technical standards and architectural direction * Company with established operations, recurring revenue, and an active customer base * Leadership-focused position from day one, with potential formalization as Tech Lead Job Type: Full-time, CLT employment Compensation: R$12.000,00 — R$15.000,00 per month Benefits: * Internet allowance Work Location: Remote
