Job Summary: Lead and integrate the operational, logistics, and administrative functions of the unit, ensuring maximum efficiency in the crane and support vehicle fleet, with a focus on people and processes. Key Highlights: 1. Leadership and management of operational teams and heavy fleet logistics. 2. Monitoring of KPIs and costs to optimize operational performance. 3. Ensuring safety, compliance, and emergency readiness. **Your main responsibilities will be:** Lead and integrate the operational, logistics, and administrative functions of the unit, ensuring maximum efficiency in the utilization of the crane and support vehicle fleet. The primary focus is people and process management to ensure that customer services are executed safely, within contractual deadlines, and with controlled costs. **Your main activities will be:** **People Leadership and Management:** Manage the employee lifecycle (technical selection, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and feedback). Handle conflicts, shift scheduling, vacations, and strict monitoring of working hours (overtime and time banks) for drivers and operators. **Heavy and Support Fleet Coordination:** Plan and supervise logistics for mobilization and demobilization of cranes, ensuring water trucks and convoys are strategically positioned to support operations and refueling, minimizing equipment downtime. **Operational Administrative Management:** Supervise the administrative department to ensure all Service Measurement Reports, Daily Operation Bulletins (BDOs), and checklists are issued and verified daily, guaranteeing a billing flow free of claim rejections. **Logistics Interface (AET and Escorts):** Coordinate with the transportation department to obtain Special Traffic Licenses (AET) and schedule pilot vehicles/escorts for the safe transport of oversized equipment. **Readiness and Emergency Management:** Respond promptly to replace operators or drivers in case of absences or urgent needs, and coordinate logistical support in cases of mechanical breakdowns in the field. **KPI and Cost Control:** Monitor team idleness KPIs, fuel consumption (convoy), travel and per diem costs, and submit weekly operational performance reports to management/executive leadership. **Safety and Compliance (SGI):** Ensure 100% of personnel use PPE and adhere to rigging plans and safety regulations. Ensure water truck and convoy drivers comply with specific legislation (waste/fuel transportation). **What you need to have:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields; * Basic knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance; * Advanced Excel skills (shift and KPI tracking); * Knowledge of traffic and indivisible cargo transportation legislation; * Experience leading teams and managing conflicts. * Familiarity with crane rental and lifting service workflows. * Proficiency in operating water trucks (moistening/refueling) and convoys (lubrication/fuel). * Ability to organize work shifts involving long-distance travel and on-call arrangements. * Capacity to motivate operational teams in high-pressure, outdoor environments. * Accountability for the financial and operational results of your leadership unit. * Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders ranging from operational staff (shop floor/yard) to senior executives and critical clients.
