A live-line electrician is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installations on energized electrical networks, using specialized techniques and equipment to ensure safety while working on live electrical lines.
**Requirements:**
**Education:** Technical diploma in electricity, electrotechnics, or a related field.
**Experience:** Relevant experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in industrial oil and gas environments.
**Certifications:** Electrical safety certification, such as NR\-10 (Regulatory Standard 10\) in Brazil or its equivalent in other countries.
**Live-Line Training:** Certification in live-line work techniques, demonstrating competence to perform tasks on energized equipment.
**Technical Knowledge:** Solid understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control used in the oil and gas industry.
**Interpersonal Skills:** Strong communication skills, ability to work effectively in teams, and capacity to make decisions under pressure.
