If you focus on customers and innovation; make decisions openly and transparently; appreciate and foster a respectful workplace; work multidisciplinarily, collaboratively, pragmatically, and result-oriented; and assume responsibility for delivery, learn more about our **Refractory Application Supervisor** position. **Important Job Information:** * Work Location: Ipatinga \| MG * Working Hours: Shift-based * Work Modality: On-site * Contract Type: Permanent **Responsibilities:** * Supervise maintenance activities within your area of responsibility, establishing execution priorities and delegating tasks to involved suppliers according to needs and resource availability, in compliance with internal procedures and current safety regulations, aiming to ensure structural functionality and availability to meet company targets. * Develop the annual preventive maintenance plan and monitor/direct teams in its implementation through negotiations with planning and production departments, to ensure equipment availability per established targets. * Supervise necessary maintenance on the unit’s refractory structures to ensure functionality and service life as planned. * Monitor manufacturing and/or refurbishment of parts and/or equipment as scheduled for fabrication, refurbishment, and/or maintenance, striving for timely production aligned with defined deadlines and timeframes. * Participate in area audits per internal procedures, current safety regulations, and defined schedules to maintain operational continuity and achieve set targets. * Participate in shutdowns, monitoring interventions to ensure adherence to the defined shutdown schedule. Supervise raw material inventory to guarantee safety stock, ensuring uninterrupted operations. * Identify improvement opportunities and request feasibility studies for project implementation, aiming to enhance quality, reduce costs, and achieve defined targets. * Ensure all employees and/or third parties under your supervision understand and comply with company policies and procedures, and maintain up-to-date training for operational execution per company procedures. * Evaluate employee and candidate performance, proposing allocation, development, and management actions to maximize competency utilization, retain high-potential talent, and appropriately compose work teams—supporting sustainability, equitable treatment, people satisfaction, and organizational results. **Required Knowledge and Skills:** * Technical education in Mechanical Engineering; Chemical Engineering; Production Engineering; or related fields; * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds; **Preferred Qualifications:** * Industrial experience; * Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency; Salary and benefits align with market trends for companies of our size and sector, including health insurance, bonus programs, and meal vouchers.
