Job Summary: A professional responsible for planning and controlling mine operations, optimizing resources and personnel to meet economic, safety, and environmental guidelines. Key Highlights: 1. Optimization of resources and personnel in mine operations. 2. Review and monitoring of short-term mining plans. 3. Data and performance indicator analysis for continuous production improvement. **JOB SUMMARY** Perform mine planning and control activities, ensuring optimal use of resources and personnel to comply with economic, safety, and environmental guidelines. Responsible for reviewing and monitoring short-term mining plans with a focus on production, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and profitability. Contribute to production optimization by analyzing data, tracking key performance indicators, and proposing improvements based on deviations identified between planned and actual results. Provide technical analysis and support for operational decision-making. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Preparation of daily mining release authorizations and pit geometry/drawing; * Deployment of tactical strategies to the operational level through mine rounds, daily and weekly mining plans; * Collaboration in the development and review of short-term production plans using Deswik software and supporting tools (Excel spreadsheets and Power BI); * Support in engineering project development (e.g., waste dumps, pit design, ramps, and access roads); * Coordination with technical and operational departments: geology, mine operations, and processing, to align requirements and plans; * Daily monitoring of monthly plan execution, including assessment of ore mass, grade, and quality; * Identification and reporting of operational deviations, jointly proposing corrective actions with the team; * Participation in routine meetings and production and planning anomaly analyses; * Contribution to continuous improvement initiatives for processes and tools used by the planning department; * Participation in weekly and monthly production adherence analyses against the plan; Compliance with the company’s current operational procedures, particularly those related to Health, Safety, and Environment. * **REQUIRED TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering / Production Engineering / Geological Engineering; * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; * Production process control – Power BI, Excel; * Proficiency in mine planning software – Deswik; * Knowledge and experience in mining sequencing and open-pit mine operations; * Operational implementation – mine design and stockpile management; * Driver's license Category B. **REQUIRED BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:** * Strong analytical capability and ability to make quick decisions. * Clear and assertive communication. * Proactivity and sense of urgency. * Resilience in high-pressure environments. * Collaborative work ethic and systemic perspective.
