




Job Summary: Professional responsible for operating and monitoring crushing, grinding, leaching, filtration, CIL/CIP, detox, and water treatment processes. Key Highlights: 1. Operation of crushing and grinding equipment. 2. Control and monitoring of CIL/CIP and leaching processes. 3. Supporting maintenance activities with a focus on safety and production KPIs. Job Responsibilities: Crushing: • Interface with Mine Operators (crushing feed, blended feed, stockpile placement); • Operation of all equipment (hopper, vibrating feeder, jaw crusher, belt conveyor, scrap extractor, metal detector, emergency stop switches, tear switches, speed sensor, scale, and other equipment); • Report to Operator III for decision-making, proactively identifying potential issues such as ore shortage, jamming, overload, energy isolation; crusher calibration; Grinding: • Field operation and monitoring of mill feed and discharge; full responsibility for the entire grinding area; • Collect samples at mill feed and discharge; perform scale drop tests; support roller replacement; clean load cells of scales; • Operate and monitor gravity circuit (gravity concentrators, basket cleaning, inspection, water filter cleaning, area inspection); • Inspect equipment including pumps, screens, cyclones, and mills; • Clean the area manually using hand tools (shovel, hoe, wheelbarrow); • Clear obstructions in ore transfer chutes; • Operate hydrocycloning (flow rate, pressure, liner replacement, apex and vortex inspection, inspection and sampling); • Operate Acacia reactor (intensive leaching); support cartridge (filter element) replacement; sample collection; transfers; • Prepare reagents; • Inspect vibrating and linear screens (screen and module replacement, unblocking water sprays); CIL/CIP/LEACHING/DETOX: • Sample collection (slurry density, pH, oxygenation, carbon profile, soluble gold sample, cyanide titration); • Carbon handling and carbon production; • Starting and stopping agitators and pumps; • Tank draining; • Cleaning of containment basins; • Cleaning and inspection of inter-stage screens; • Cleaning of carbon production and safety screens; screen and module replacement; • Pump inspection, gland packing adjustments, pump start-up and shutdown; • Operate TAC – Cyanide Analyzer and dosage control; • Handling of chemical products; • Reagent preparation; • pH control; • Work with lifting operations, high-pressure water jetting, overhead cranes, NR35, NR33, NR12, NR06, NR22; • Knowledge and training in CIC (International Cyanide Management Code); • Interface with all departments and Control Room; Elution: • Temperature, pressure, flow rate, and time control; • Cleaning and replacement of heat exchangers and strainers; • Boiler operation; • Operation and sampling (control of electrolysis inlet and outlet – electrolytic cells); • Acid wash control and operation; • Titration of samples (cyanide, soda ash, hydrochloric acid); • Interface with all departments – transfer of enriched and exhausted carbon; • Area cleaning and organization (5S); • Support maintenance during equipment shutdowns; • Focus on all KPIs (cost control, production, safety indicators); • Pump operation, start-up and shutdown; Filtration: • Filtration operation; • Thickener operation (torque, rake, density, reagent dosing control); • Pump operation control, start-up and shutdown; • Moisture content control; • Direct interface with all departments (ensuring UF operational continuity); • Hand over equipment to maintenance according to scheduled shutdowns; • Support maintenance and shutdowns, including corrective actions; Wastewater Treatment Plant (ETE) and Water Treatment Plant (ETA): Operation of the entire water reuse system; Control of water inflow and outflow; Ensure all process stages are functioning properly; Requirements: • Completed elementary education; • Residency in Currais Novos\- RN; • Availability to work rotating shifts.
