BBR - Operator of Processes I
Job Description:
Crushing:
* Interface with Mine Operators (Crushing Feed, Blended Feed, Stockyard Placement);
* Operation of all equipment (Hopper, Vibratory Feeder, Jaw Crusher, Belt Conveyor, Scrap Extractor, Metal Detector, Emergency Switches, Rip Switches, Speed Sensor, Scale, and other equipment);
* Reports to Operator III for decision-making, anticipating potential issues related to Ore Shortage, Jamming, Overload, Energy Lockout; Crusher Calibration;
Grinding:
* Field operation and monitoring of grinding equipment feed and discharge; responsible for the entire grinding area;
* Sample collection at Mill Feed and Discharge, Scale Drop Test; Support Roller Replacement, Cleaning of Load Cell Chambers in Scales.
* Operation and monitoring of gravity circuit (Gravity Concentrators, Basket Cleaning, Inspection, Water Filter Cleaning, Area Inspection);
* Equipment inspection including pumps, screens, cyclones, and mills;
* Area cleaning using manual tools (Shovel, Hoe, Handcart/Wheelbarrow);
* Clearing blockages in ore transfer chutes;
* Operation of hydrocycloning (Flow Rate, Pressure, Liner Replacement, APEX and VORTEX Inspection, Inspection and Sample Collection);
* Operation of Acacia Reactor (Intensive Leaching), Support in Cartridge Replacement – Filtration Elements, Sample Collection, Transfers;
* Reagent preparation;
* Inspection of Vibrating Screens and Linear Screens (Screen and Module Replacement, Unclogging of Water Sprays);
CIL/CIP/LEACHING/DETOX:
* Sample collection (Slurry Density, pH, Oxygenation, Carbon Profile, Soluble Gold Sample, Cyanide Titration);
* Carbon handling and carbon production;
* Start-up and shutdown of agitators and pumps;
* Tank draining;
* Containment basin cleaning;
* Cleaning and inspection of inter-stage screens;
* Cleaning of carbon production screens and safety screens; screen and module replacement;
* Pump inspection, gland packing adjustments, pump start-up and shutdown;
* TAC – Cyanide Analyzer operation and dosage control;
* Handling of chemical products;
* Reagent preparation;
* pH control;
* Work involving lifting, pressure washing and high-pressure systems, overhead cranes, NR35, NR33, NR12, NR06, NR22;
* Knowledge and training on CIC (International Cyanide Code);
* Interface with all areas and Control Room;
Elution:
* Temperature, Pressure, Flow Rate, and Time control;
* Cleaning and replacement of heat exchangers, strainers;
* Boiler operation;
* Operation and sample collection (Control of electrolysis inlet and outlet – Electrolytic Cells);
* Acid wash control and operation;
* Sample titration (Cyanide, Caustic Soda, Hydrochloric Acid);
* Interface with all areas – Transfer of Enriched Carbon and Spent Carbon;
* Area cleaning and organization (5S);
* Maintenance support during equipment shutdowns;
* Focus on all KPIs (Cost Control, Production, Safety Indicators);
* Pump operation, start-up and shutdown;
Filtration:
* Filtration operation;
* Thickener operation (Torque Control, RACK, Density, Reagent Dosing);
* Pump operation control, start-up and shutdown;
* Moisture content control;
* Direct interface with all areas (Ensuring UF Operation);
* Handover of equipment to Maintenance according to scheduled shutdowns;
* Support for Maintenance and Shutdowns, including corrective actions;
Wastewater Treatment Plant (ETE) and Water Treatment Plant (ETA):
Operation of the entire water reuse system;
Control of water inflow and outflow;
Ensure all treatment stages are performed;
Requirements:
* Completed elementary education;
* Residency in Currais Novos–RN;
* Availability for shift work.
