**Souza Advogados** is looking for a **Civil Lawyer with experience in Banking Law and Social Security Law** to join our team.
We seek a technically skilled, committed, and strategically minded professional to handle complex legal matters within a collaborative and high-performance environment.
**Mandatory Requirements:**
* Minimum of **1 year of experience in civil litigation**;
* Solid knowledge of **Banking Law** (e.g., revision actions, enforcement of judgments, RMC, RCC, over-indebtedness, etc.) and **Social Security Law**.
* Prior experience in Social Security Law, Banking Law, or both.
* Strong legal writing skills and organizational ability.
* Commitment to deadlines and technical quality.
* Strong communication and client service skills.
* **Active and duly registered OAB membership**, with no pending issues.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Basic understanding of judicial calculations.
* Experience with INSS, Meu INSS, and analysis of statements and contracts.
* Familiarity with procedural systems (PJe, e\-SAJ, PROJUDI).
**Technical Social Security Practice**
● Draft and file administrative requests on behalf of clients, demonstrating mastery of INSS rules and procedures and those of other social security agencies.
● Apply Social Security Law expertise thoroughly, correctly applying legislation, case law, and administrative guidelines.
**Meeting Deadlines and Producing Technical Work**
● Draft and file procedural documents within established deadlines, ensuring clarity, sound legal reasoning, and strategic alignment.
● Develop highly complex legal documents, including:
o Final arguments
o Appeals
o Interlocutory appeals
o Clarification appeals
o Writs of mandamus
o Counter-arguments
o Enforcement of judgments
o Objections to seizure
o Objections to enforcement of judgments
o Objections to expert reports
Procedural Routines
● Send court fee payment slips to clients, providing appropriate instructions regarding payment and statutory deadlines.
● Prepare liquidation calculations, value updates, and procedural simulations as required by the case.
Client Service
● Provide legal support to clients, explaining procedural progress, adopted strategies, rulings, and next steps.
● Maintain clear, empathetic, and documented communications, keeping clients informed and confident about how their case is being handled.
**General Legal Department Activities**
● Collaborate with other legal department activities, supporting colleagues whenever necessary to ensure smooth operations and consistent quality in deliverables.
● Participate in internal meetings for technical alignment, strategy review, and analysis of complex cases.
Assess interest in filing appeals or continuing litigation, respecting deadlines and clearly aligning strategies.
● Practice active listening, empathy, and objectivity to foster trust-based relationships and ensure legal security.
**Drafting Extrajudicial Notices**
* Draft extrajudicial notices based on discussions held, formally expressing the intention to renegotiate or challenge contractual clauses.
* Use institutional templates, adapting them according to the specifics of each case.
