**Souza Advogados** is seeking a **Civil Lawyer with experience in Banking and Social Security Law** to join our team. We are looking for a technically skilled, committed professional with strategic vision to handle complex cases in a collaborative, high-performance environment. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Minimum **1 year of experience in civil litigation**; * Solid knowledge of **Banking Law** (e.g., loan revision actions, enforcement of judgments, RMC, RCC, over-indebtedness, etc.) and **Social Security Law**; * Prior experience in Social Security Law, Banking Law, or both; * Strong legal writing skills and organizational ability; * Commitment to deadlines and technical quality; * Strong communication skills and client service orientation; * **Active and regularized Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) registration**, with no outstanding issues. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Basic understanding of judicial calculations; * Experience with the National Institute of Social Security (INSS), Meu INSS platform, and analysis of statements and contracts; * Familiarity with court management systems (e.g., PJe, e-SAJ, PROJUDI). **Technical Social Security Practice** ● Draft and file administrative requests on behalf of clients, demonstrating thorough knowledge of INSS rules and procedures, as well as those of other social security agencies. ● Apply Social Security legal techniques rigorously, correctly interpreting legislation, case law, and administrative guidelines. **Deadline Compliance and Technical Output** ● Draft and file procedural documents within established deadlines, ensuring clarity, sound legal reasoning, and strategic alignment. ● Prepare highly complex legal documents, including: o Final arguments o Appeals o Interlocutory appeals o Clarification appeals o Writs of mandamus o Counter-arguments o Enforcement of judgments o Objections to seizure o Objections to enforcement of judgments o Objections to expert reports **Procedural Routine** ● Send court fee payment slips to clients, along with clear instructions regarding payment methods and statutory deadlines. ● Perform liquidation calculations, value updates, and procedural simulations as required by the case. **Client Service** ● Provide legal guidance to clients, explaining case progress, adopted strategies, judicial decisions, and next steps. ● Maintain clear, empathetic, and documented communications, keeping clients informed and confident about how their case is being handled. **General Legal Department Activities** ● Collaborate across all legal department functions, supporting colleagues as needed to ensure smooth operations and consistent quality in deliverables. ● Participate in internal meetings for technical alignment, strategy review, and analysis of complex cases. ● Assess interest in filing appeals or continuing litigation, respecting deadlines and clearly aligning strategies. ● Practice active listening, empathy, and objectivity to build trust-based relationships and ensure legal security. **Drafting of Extrajudicial Notices** * Draft extrajudicial notices based on prior negotiations, formally expressing intent to renegotiate or challenge contractual clauses. * Use institutional templates, adapting them to the specific circumstances of each case. **What We Expect From You** * Commitment to deadlines and technical quality; * Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team; * Analytical mindset and attention to detail; * Ethical conduct, collaborative attitude, and results orientation. **What We Expect From You:** * Commitment to deadlines and technical quality; * Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team; * Analytical mindset and attention to detail; * Ethical conduct, collaborative attitude, and results orientation.
