Job Summary: Professional responsible for optimizing industrial processes, mapping workflows, designing layouts, and conducting feasibility and standardization studies in a manufacturing environment. Key Highlights: 1. Strategic involvement in industrial process optimization and productivity improvement. 2. Design and revision of industrial layouts and material flow systems. 3. Participation in technical and economic feasibility studies. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field; * Prior experience in chemical, cosmetics, sanitation, food, or beverage industries; * Knowledge of continuous improvement tools (Lean, Kaizen, Basic Six Sigma); * Experience in industrial layout design and material flow planning; * Proficiency with tools such as Advanced Excel and drawing/flowcharting software (AutoCAD, Visio, or similar). Responsibilities: * Map the process flow from the 20 reactors to the 14 packaging lines, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for productivity gains; * Conduct capacity studies, line balancing, and setup optimization; * Design and revise industrial layouts (current and future plant), considering personnel flow, material flow, safety, and internal logistics; * Support the automation engineer in defining operational logic, batch sequences, and process interlocks; * Participate in technical and economic feasibility studies for new equipment, packaging lines, and packaging technologies; * Develop and standardize process instructions, recipes, operating parameters, and best practices; * Collaborate with Production Planning and Control (PCP) to simulate production scenarios and assess the impact of new projects on capacity; * Establish and monitor process KPIs (OEE, productivity, yield, product losses, utility consumption); * Conduct process-related tests for new equipment, new formulations, and new packaging formats; * Support the layout design of the new factory and the commissioning of new facilities.
