Cafeteria Manager Position
General Description
Operational management and daily supervision routine: Opening/closing the store, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning of equipment. Inventory control: Placing purchase orders, receiving goods, verifying invoices, and managing inventory to prevent waste or stock shortages. Compliance with regulations: Ensuring strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health surveillance standards. People management (leadership) and training: Training baristas and servers according to company standards, coffee preparation methods, and sales techniques. Scheduling: Preparing work schedules, days off, and managing vacation time. Motivation and feedback: Motivating the team, mediating conflicts, and conducting performance evaluations to maintain a positive work environment. Customer service and sales: Ensuring customer satisfaction by efficiently resolving complaints or issues. Results-oriented focus: Monitoring performance indicators (KPIs), such as sales volume, and proposing strategies to increase revenue.
Requirements
Experience: Previous experience in cafeteria, restaurant, or food and beverage sector management is generally required. Skills: Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving ability (agility), and organizational skills. Preferred qualifications: Technical knowledge of specialty coffees, brewing methods, and management systems
