**Job Description** The **First Stage Furniture Production Manager** will be responsible for the complete management of production areas involved in the initial transformation of solid wood and panels, ensuring compliance with production plans, product quality, and process efficiency. This stage covers from the pre\-cutting of raw materials to the final assembly of structural parts, delivering the product to **bone stock** — the stage marking the end of their responsibility in the production flow. **Areas under responsibility** **Solid Wood (4 supervisors):** * Solid Pre\-Cut – Supervisor: Edson * Solid Pre\-Machining – Supervisor: Régis * Solid Machining – Supervisor: Waldir * Solid Assembly – Supervisor: Germano **Panels (1 supervisor):** * Panel Cutting * Panel Machining * Panel Assembly * Responsible Supervisor: Gustavo Total of **5 supervisors** and approximately **149 direct employees**. **Main Responsibilities** * Manage and coordinate all production stages for solid wood and panels, ensuring achievement of production targets, quality standards, and deadlines set by PCP. * Ensure integration between pre\-cutting, machining, and assembly areas, optimizing resources and processes. * Monitor daily performance indicators (OEE, productivity, efficiency, and absenteeism). * Promote continuous improvement of production processes, focusing on waste reduction and increased productivity. * Supervise and develop area supervisors and team leaders, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork. * Ensure correct use of **FoccoERP** for production reporting and control. * Monitor weekly production scheduling and ensure compliance according to PCP guidelines. * Use control tools such as **hourly board**, **Taget**, and operational indicators to track production pace and performance. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields. * Previous experience in industrial production management, preferably in the furniture or timber industry. * Knowledge of machining and assembly processes for solid wood and MDF. * Experience with performance indicators and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, etc.). * Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably **FoccoERP**). * Strong leadership, analytical profile, and ability to make decisions under pressure. **Advantages** * Experience with CNC machinery and automated process management. * Experience in serial and custom production (corporate sector). * Skills in managing large and multifunctional teams.
