




Job Summary: Responsible for coordinating, planning, and ensuring efficient execution of fleet maintenance, guaranteeing high operational availability and compliance with regulations. Focus on continuous improvement and failure analysis Responsible for coordinating, planning, and ensuring efficient execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, guaranteeing high operational availability of yellow-line fleets (heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, crawler tractors) and white-line fleets (heavy trucks, light vehicles, and utility vehicles), through rigorous management of leasing contracts, cost control, and implementation of KPIs related to performance, safety, and compliance with legal and environmental regulations. **Responsibilities and Duties** Coordinate maintenance activities for fleets comprising trucks, trailers, tractors, wheel loaders, excavators, and other heavy equipment; Plan and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance schedules, ensuring adherence to plans and reducing unplanned downtime; Manage corrective maintenance, prioritizing critical equipment for waste collection, transportation, and treatment operations; Monitor key performance indicators, such as: Physical Availability (PA), Utilization, Maintenance Cost per Hour/Km, MTBF/MTTR, fuel and lubricant consumption; Control maintenance costs, departmental budget, and contracts with suppliers, external workshops, and service providers; Implement strict controls over the largest variable fleet costs, such as tire lifecycle management and fuel efficiency; Perform performance analysis (Telematics), using satellite/GPS monitoring systems to analyze machine usage patterns and prevent failures caused by misuse; Manage the department’s monthly budget, analyzing variances and proposing fleet renewal strategies (Buy versus Lease); Manage relationships with leasing companies, monitoring SLA (Service Level Agreement) compliance and validating invoices for external services performed; Ensure compliance with occupational safety, environmental, and traffic legislation (e.g., tachograph inspections, vehicle licensing); Coordinate spare parts, consumables, and technical warehouse management, avoiding shortages or excesses; Support fleet renewal, standardization, and technical specification processes; Lead, develop, and evaluate the maintenance team, promoting technical and behavioral training; Conduct analysis of recurring failures and implement continuous improvement actions; Support internal and external audits related to maintenance, safety, and environment. Comply with policies, procedures, and standards established by the specific management system, using preventive equipment, observing regulatory norms and procedures, reporting deviations, and proposing corrections for unsafe acts, thereby contributing to the implementation and maintenance of normative, legal, and regulatory requirements governing the \*SGI; Participate in internal events, campaigns, and training related to the \*SGI; Perform other related tasks as directed and requested by the immediate supervisor. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Minimum Education** Completed undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering (active CREA registration), Mechatronics, Production Engineering, or related fields with coursework focused on mechanics. **Technical Competencies** Knowledge of maintenance management systems (PCM/CMMS), fleet and telematics management software, ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams, knowledge of traffic legislation and safety regulations for heavy equipment/machinery, expertise in hydraulic systems and diesel engines, advanced Office suite proficiency (especially Excel for data analysis), experience with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or integrated management systems. **Behavioral Profile** Leadership and operational team management, planning and organizational skills, decision-making and problem-solving abilities, clear communication and interpersonal relationship skills, analytical mindset and results- and data-driven focus, negotiation skills, ability to manage multiple geographically distributed assets, commitment to safety and sustainability. **Prior Experience** Over 7 years’ experience coordinating teams and maintenance activities for heavy fleets (yellow line) and managing vehicle leasing contracts, preferably within the solid waste, sanitation, or heavy logistics sectors. **Additional Information** * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Gym allowance * Pharmacy allowance * Christmas basket * Life insurance * Meal voucher * Transportation voucher #### **Transformation is part of human essence.** #### **Every evolutionary process is driven by change.
