




Job Summary: The Mechanical Designer is responsible for the development, detailing, and review of mechanical projects for the manufacturing of machined parts, fixtures, and assemblies. Ensuring compliance with technical standards and customer requirements The Mechanical Designer is responsible for developing, detailing, and reviewing mechanical projects aimed at manufacturing machined parts, fixtures, tools, and mechanical assemblies, ensuring technical feasibility, functionality, quality, and compliance with technical standards and customer requirements. **Main Responsibilities**: * Develop and detail mechanical projects for machined parts and assemblies; * Prepare technical drawings and 2D/3D models in accordance with technical standards (ABNT/ISO); * Specify materials, tolerances, surface finishes, and manufacturing processes; * Provide technical support to production, machining, and quality departments; * Implement modifications and improvements to existing projects; * Analyze technical feasibility, manufacturing costs, and delivery timelines; * Prepare and maintain technical project documentation; * Interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams for technical alignment; * Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and performance requirements. **Job Requirements**: * Technical or higher education degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields; * Experience in mechanical design projects focused on machining; * Knowledge of machining processes (turning, milling, drilling, etc.); * Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar); * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; * Knowledge of metallic materials and heat treatments; * Familiarity with metrology and dimensional and geometric tolerances (GD&T). **Behavioral Competencies**: * Organization and attention to detail; * Analytical ability and technical vision; * Strong communication skills and teamwork; * Proactivity and sense of responsibility; * Focus on quality and continuous improvement. **Preferred Qualifications**: * Experience with CAM software and CAD/CAM integration; * Knowledge of technical and industrial standards; * Experience in a metallurgical manufacturing environment.
