





Job Description: **Talented people make Schneider Electric a great company!** This professional will be responsible for executing, maintaining, and commissioning automation systems for a major client in the region. The role is on-site and involves programming, testing, diagnostics, and adjustments to control equipment and systems, ensuring proper operation in accordance with Schneider Electric and client standards. The environment is dynamic and collaborative, focused on meeting the client’s technical and operational requirements while ensuring compliance with Schneider Electric and refinery standards. **Responsibilities:** * Develop and implement industrial automation systems, including control logic and system integration. * Program PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA/DCS systems, with emphasis on platforms such as Triconex and Foxboro. * Conduct functional validation tests (FAT/SAT) and field logic adjustments. * Execute system commissioning and start-up, ensuring safety and technical compliance. * Support assisted operations, adjusting parameters and optimizing performance. * Prepare technical documentation, including I/O lists, control diagrams, test plans, and commissioning reports. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (electrical engineering, instrumentation, process, IT). (External) Brazilian Portuguese Qualifications: **Requirements:** * Configuration of DCS systems (Foxboro) and Triconex. * Proficiency in industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, FF). * Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical diagrams, and logic diagrams. * Knowledge of functional safety systems (SIS). * Management of schedules and technical resources during commissioning. * Agile and accurate problem-solving skills. * Clear communication with technical and operational teams. * Teamwork and technical leadership in high-pressure environments. * Adaptability to scope changes and field conditions. * Time and priority management in dynamic environments. * Commitment to safety and quality throughout all project phases. * Technical degree (preferably in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control, or related fields). Active registration with CREA or equivalent regulatory body. * Solid experience in commissioning large-scale automation system projects and/or units in oil and/or petrochemical sectors. * Multidisciplinary profile, capable of handling interface-related matters across disciplines such as engineering, electrical, procurement, automation, and operation of the respective industrial unit covered by this contract and other contracted parties. * Proven hands-on experience with Schneider/Foxboro DCS systems. * Proven hands-on experience with Triconex PLCs. * Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text, control scripting). * Knowledge of control network topologies (ring, star, bus, etc.). * Proficiency in Windows tools, Word, MS Access, and others. * Advanced Excel. * Ability to perform commissioning, troubleshooting, and failure analysis of complex systems. **Desirable:** * Intermediate English. * Experience with engineering tools such as COMOS, EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical. **Location:** Ipojuca / PE **Tell us more about you!
