RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Receive shift handover and provide safe, humanized, and individualized nursing assistance to patients; Perform equipment functionality checklists to ensure they are in perfect working condition; Carry out cleaning, disinfection, and hygiene of materials and equipment, as well as their storage and distribution; Report any damage or need for repair of equipment immediately to the nurse to request a Service Order (SO); Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriately; Welcome patients and provide guidance and clarifications to patients and their families; Accompany patients during admissions, guiding them regarding scheduled exams and consultations; Monitor vital signs; Perform capillary blood collection (capillary glucose testing); Perform peripheral venous cannulation; Administer medications according to medical prescriptions, diluting when necessary; Provide immediate assistance to patients in case of complications during the shift; Perform or assist with patient hygiene; Assist with patient feeding when necessary; Perform fluid balance and drain management per routine and document in the medical record; Perform post-mortem care and body preparation; Collect materials (aerosol masks, tubing, laryngoscopes, etc.) and deliver them to the decontamination department for cleaning and sterilization; Document medication requests for patients, medical prescriptions, nursing observations, and shift incidents in the Electronic Patient Record (EPR); Participate periodically in nursing team meetings; Manage medications, including receipt from pharmacy, verification, and storage; Ensure the functional status of equipment assigned to the unit at all times; Comply with company-established norms, procedures, or work instructions, or those stipulated by applicable legislation, according to area of responsibility. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Required qualifications: Technical Nursing Course; Active registration with the Regional Nursing Council (COREN). Desirable qualifications: Experience in Emergency/Urgent Care is an advantage. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION What do we offer?
