***Retail sector company—supermarkets (stores located in Cabo de Santo Agostinho—center, Garapu, and/or Cohab)*** * Manage merchandise restocking and expiration date control. * Restock, sort, and if necessary, weigh and price fruits, vegetables, and greens (FVG) selected by customers before they proceed to checkout. * Assist with dispatch, receipt, and storage of products into inventory or onto transport vehicles, handling boxes, bags, bales, crates, etc. * Assist customers at cold cuts, meat, bakery, and other service counters. * Assist with portioning and weighing products for display and sale in refrigerated and frozen sections. * Handle damaged goods: sort, identify items unfit for consumption, and dispose of them accordingly. * Organize and clean the damaged-goods area. * Promote products on special offer and promotional pricing. * When operating the cash register, perform cash withdrawals and closing procedures together with the store auditor. * Maintain order and cleanliness at checkout areas; collect baskets, shopping carts, and abandoned customer items, returning them to their proper locations. * Assist with physical inventory counts of stored products for daily stock control, and periodically participate in full merchandise inventory audits. * Deliver documents and packages to the central office or other group stores. * Perform the same duties and related activities described above at any supermarket location to which assigned. Education: Completed high school education and relevant experience in the responsibilities outlined above. ***Work schedule:*** 6-day workweek with 1 day off (2 Sundays worked, 2 Sundays off) ***Working hours:*** Availability for rotating shifts required.
