Job Summary: We are seeking a Driver (Category D or E) for freight transportation, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality deliveries while supporting company operations. Key Highlights: 1. We are looking for a **Driver (Category D or E)** to join our team and handle freight transportation, ensuring deliveries are carried out safely, punctually, and with quality. This professional will play an essential role in supporting company operations, responsible for driving vehicles according to scheduled routes while ensuring cargo integrity and vehicle maintenance. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Main Activities:** * Drive vehicles for freight transportation, following defined routes and schedules, in compliance with municipal, state, and federal regulations; * Perform daily vehicle inspection checklists, including mechanical condition checks, safety items verification, and tachograph disc replacement; * Supervise and support vehicle loading at the company yard, ensuring proper cargo distribution, stability, and safety during transit; * Conduct preventive inspections and promptly report any maintenance needs, dispatching the vehicle to the workshop when required; * Verify invoices and documentation for collected and delivered goods, ensuring information accuracy; * Supervise loading and unloading processes at customer, supplier, and delivery locations, ensuring they occur safely and orderly; * Ensure all documents (waybills, invoice stubs, and other records) are properly signed and stamped, delivering them afterward to the Transportation Department; * Maintain cleanliness, upkeep, and good condition of the assigned vehicle; * Comply with internal policies, procedures, and control programs such as vehicle telematics and monitoring; * Identify, record, and report incidents related to product, process, or quality system; * Support activities related to the role, as directed by leadership. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements:** * Completed elementary education; * Valid driver’s license **Category D or E**; * Professional training course in transportation, professional driving, or related fields; * Prior experience as a professional driver; * Knowledge of urban and highway routes; * Knowledge of traffic legislation. **Desirable Knowledge:** * Basic understanding of vehicle dimensions (height, length, width); * Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics; **Additional Information** Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 18:15; Benefits: Meal allowance, transportation allowance, life insurance, discounts on English courses, undergraduate and postgraduate studies, Caju Mais | 2 therapy sessions + 2 nutritionist sessions | for R$11.00/month.
