Your day-to-day at Medtronic * Lead planned transformations within the Medtronic Performance System program through plans outlined in the Strategic Plan, Annual Actions, and Individual Objectives set by management; * Coordinate the Tiered Communication Program and issue escalation; * Daily problem solving, calculations, and dissemination of production KPI results; * Support Quality Engineering in preparing Test Request Reports, sample collection for testing, Work Standardization, and developing Work Instructions; * Conduct production time studies, input data into Excel spreadsheets, propose system improvements, and train new employees on tasks as needed; * Lead and support continuous improvement or cost reduction projects listed in the Project Hopper or company Idea Program initiatives through Kaizen events, contributing to improved production- and Engineering-related KPIs; * Participate in and lead Kaizen events across various departments, organizing teams and applying Lean techniques; * Support Manufacturing in addressing targeted improvements identified by the team; * Coordinate problem-solving analyses using A3 reports and other quality tools upon request; * Proficiently apply statistical tools for process improvement, validation of results, and facilitation of decision-making; * Capable of leading projects with strong organizational skills, task-and-deadline tracking software, and building productive teams to achieve objectives; * Adhere to standards and guidelines defined by your immediate supervisor, fulfilling responsibilities specified for your position in the Quality Manual and related Quality documents; * Follow guidance and procedures outlined in the Safety, Medical, and Environmental Manual. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; * Intermediate English proficiency; * Basic Spanish proficiency; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and intermediate Excel (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP); * Green Belt certification.
