Ethics and integrity are integral to all business relationships, as are humility, commitment, and diversity. **Job Description** * Manage river fleet operations and team, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high performance. * Liaise with maritime authorities and public agencies. * People management: onboard and onshore staff, training, and compliance with Navy regulations. * Ensure preventive/predictive maintenance and documentation compliance for vessels. * Manage fixed, variable costs, and CAPEX. * Lead negotiations with river workers' unions. * Represent the company with regulatory bodies and industry associations. * Monitor terminal maneuvers to reduce downtime and increase productivity. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Naval Technology, Nautical Sciences, or Business Administration. * Solid experience in managing fleets of vessels. * Experience with regulatory agencies and inland waterway operations. * Leadership and team management skills. **Additional Information** **Desirable:** * Postgraduate degree in Logistics or Human Resources Management. * Experience navigating in the Amazon Basin. * Advanced English proficiency. **Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity** Diversity is part of our DNA.
