**Responsibilities and Assignments**
* Perform analyses related to analytical methodology development and assist in resolving analytical problems, ensuring evaluation of non-conforming results and that methods comply with current regulatory requirements;
* Conduct bibliographic research using pharmacopoeias and the DMF (Drug Master File / Descriptive documentation of the active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturer) to define methodologies and specifications, ensuring qualification of pharmaceutical ingredient suppliers;
* Draft provisional specifications for new raw materials based on pharmacopoeial research and certificate evaluations, analyzing various manufacturers to ensure pharmaceutical ingredient quality;
* Assist in reviewing technical documentation, such as protocols and reports, verifying compliance with regulatory requirements and acceptance criteria for each test per company guidelines. Analyses performed during this process must be clearly and objectively recorded in technical-scientific reports;
* Operate and maintain equipment (e.g., HPLC – High Performance Liquid Chromatography, GC – Gas Chromatography, pH meter, etc.), following internal laboratory operational standards to ensure equipment remains in good working and maintenance condition, while maintaining laboratory organization;
* Plan and execute polymorphism, compatibility, rheology, and other solid-state property studies to evaluate whether raw materials meet defined technical criteria;
* Train and mentor junior analysts during integration into laboratory activities and provide support for questions arising during method development, release testing, and documentation completion;
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree completed in Chemistry or Pharmacy;
* Postgraduate studies in related fields are a plus (e.g., Statistics, Validation, Instrumentation, Master’s, PhD);
* Prior experience in R&D laboratories performing raw material analysis using instrumental techniques such as liquid chromatography with various coupled detectors;
* Knowledge of regulatory Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards;
